If you are camping in a heavily mosquito infested area, you will want to be sure to bring along plenty of mosquito netting for your trip.  Nothing can ruin a family vacation like swatting away mosquitoes throughout the night and suffering from itchy red bites.  Many tents come with mosquito netting windows and doors, but you might also want to add more items to your camping gear.

If you are planning on doing a lot of hiking, you might want to get a hat with protective netting that hangs over the face.  This is especially useful if you are out fishing in a boat where mosquitoes are swarming.  Some mosquito netting comes with wire frames, while others might have fiberglass poles to build tent-like nets. 

There are even mosquito netting options for your children, like free standing nets to place over your infant to keep them from pesky mosquitoes, or nets which are hung over a crib.  You and your family will be much happier and able to enjoy your picnic or camp side meals when you are protected from bothersome mosquitoes and other flies.
